Our prime movers are 2022 and newer Volvo FH units on heavy-duty spring suspension with reinforced axles, matched to the load rather than assigned at random. Axle count is not about total strength — it is about how the load is spread. UAE road regulations limit how much weight may pass through any single axle onto the road surface, so a 130 ton machine on four axles can be illegal while the same machine on six is compliant. Adding axles divides the same mass across more contact points and brings each one back inside the limit.
This is also why the position of the cargo on the deck matters as much as its weight. A dense, compact load concentrated over one axle group can breach the limit even when the total is well within the trailer rating. We calculate placement before the trailer leaves our yard, which is part of why we ask for dimensions and not just tonnage.
