Have it accessible, able to be driven or lifted onto the deck, and with attachments either secured or removed. Booms should be lowered and any loose buckets or counterweights separated so they can be secured individually. If the machine cannot move under its own power, tell us before the trailer is dispatched — that changes both the trailer and the loading method.
Once the machine plus trailer exceeds the legal width, height, length or weight envelope, it needs RTA authorisation before it can travel. We arrange those permits and any police escort in-house, and we run a height and bridge-clearance check on the route first.
